Is it just me, or was the last "Diary of a Wimpy Kid" a let down?

I liked the other ones, but this one was a let down. Greg seemed even more spoiled and bratty than the other ones. Like, he had no clue how to do the old math, and was grossed out when his dad licked his fingers before turned the pages of his text book, among other things. There were some cute parts, but for the most part, I didn't really find this one as cute like I did the other ones. So, what are your thoughts on the book?
