Compliments for women offensive?

So I was at a restaurant and the waitress asked for my order and when I gave it to her I said, "Thanks Sweetheart". When she refilled my drink, I said "Thanks Hun" ...and when she cleared my plate I said "Great job doll". My female co-worker who was with me was broiling mad saying that the terms I was using were "offensive"..Is she just being a feminist or what? We fought about that all day..I don;t know what was wrong about what I said at all
