How to deal with this guy?! serious and honest advice appreciated please!?

Maybe the shy guy told his friend that he really likes you. And maybe his friend is starting to tease you and stuff so you guys can have a "friend in common". I don't know, i'm thinking that maybe he's trying to get you comfortable with his friends as well?
