How to make a flavorful hamburger patty?

worcestershire sauce has always been my favorite ingredient in wonderful burgers. i dont know of anything else that i would put in the burger. the only thing i can really suggest is possibly cooking it anoher way. my mom used to just cook them in a pan on the stove sometimes and they were amazing. nothing beats a grill cooked hamburger though.
