Salmon cooks very rapidly and if you broil it at a higher temperature, it can easily burn or dry out. To broil it at 350, preheat the oven and place the salmon on a baking pan on the highest height to the top of the oven. Cook about 10-12 minutes, turn it over and broil another 10-12 minutes or until it flakes easily with a fork. Salmon cooks and tastes best if basted with a sauce such as honey mustard. Brush it on the top of the fish, bake,turn, and brush the top again.
