What should I do with these Pork chops?
They are marinating in a homemade Marinade it consist of soy sauce, beef broth, honey, lil vinegar, garlic, ans some all purpose seasoning. How should I cook them? Broiled in the oven, on my grill pan? I want to pair some onions with them and maybe a potato dish! Any and all idea welcome thanks!
Why won't my oven work?
Change the fuse with another (just a temporary test) and try again. Otherwise it is the connection of how the element plugs in to the oven that is probably at fault. Which at worst means you have to pull the stove out, unplug it from the power source and see what is up with the connectors.

First I wouldn't wrap in foil since I am assuming you want the glaze to caramelize somewhat. Second the baking time sounds a little long so I would check after about 15 minutes and go from there.

Kenmore 790.91079601 Oven?
Hi I have an Kenmore 790.91079601. My question is the bake and broil do not work (heat up), the range burners do. I thought It might be the element but I removed and the element has continuity. Reinstalled element and turned on Bake and adjusted heat and checked voltage at each element connection and got a 125 VAC. What am I missing?

We've been in hour home for about 5 years now and we have radiant heat through the floor and a central air unit for air conditioning in the summer. We get so much dust in our home its incredible. We live in Illinois so we have not had our doors and windows open for some time now due to the winter yet the dust appears the day after we dust. It gets all over everything and shows on our pergo flooring so bad you would think we hadnt dusted in a year. We recently bought 2 Holmes humidifiers in November and they have been running constantly. I have noticed within the last several months that there is this weird blue(ish) colored substance that appears on plastic bags (chips/garbage bags, etc). It wipes off clean but does not show up on your hands. It doesnt seem to be showing on anything but plastic; at least thats where we can see it. We both have been coughing a lot lately so I'm concerned it is more than dust. I have been thinking about getting a roomba for the dust on the floor and maybe an air purifier for the other dust/stuff but wonder if it would just be helping with the symptoms and not the problem. We have no kids and no pets. We actually bought an air innovations purifier that you plug into the wall and within 3 days it was covered in a white substance that coated the wall and outlet it was plugged into. We threw it away since the filter looked to be charred and didnt feel comfortable since it said it could cause a fire if not cleaned regularly. So basically-whats up with all this dust? Where is it coming from? Whats the best way to prohibit its growth? And what in the world is this stuff thats attaching to the plastic in our house? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

ive woke up this morning with my right nipple burning, its got like a little ermmmmm cant really explain it like a bit of my nipple right in the middle as come apart abit.... i can move it its not a lump it is part of my nipple that as moved an hurts when i touch it, luks like its bleeding abit too???? really worried.x
Broiling versus Baking?
Salmon cooks very rapidly and if you broil it at a higher temperature, it can easily burn or dry out. To broil it at 350, preheat the oven and place the salmon on a baking pan on the highest height to the top of the oven. Cook about 10-12 minutes, turn it over and broil another 10-12 minutes or until it flakes easily with a fork. Salmon cooks and tastes best if basted with a sauce such as honey mustard. Brush it on the top of the fish, bake,turn, and brush the top again.

Am I trying to hard to get into this eventing team?
I ride at this really awesome barn and im good friends with everyone there. They have an eventing team that travels to shows and such in the spring summer and fall, and it has teenagers to middle aged people. I have been working very hard to make my horse into an eventer and its really paying off because hes becoming a dressage horse and hes getting used to the more contact. I was hoping i would get invited to be part of it maybe soon, because im good friends with the head person and shes seen how much ive been working and seeing his jumping really come into place. And a good friend of mine has a naturally gifted horse, it was like she was made for jumping and dressage! and she came over to the barn once to ride with me and she got an instant invitation into the eventing club. I wasnt suprised but i feel like the next person to get an invitation should have been me.. im not trying to impress people or anything im just training a lot to be an eventer and its been showing.. any good tips?

Hi, maybe it's the video codec issue. avi is a media container which can be encoded with many different codecs, so windows movie maker just supports some special avi videos. as I know, WMM supports wmv or mpeg2 videos well, so you need to use a good software to convert your avi videos to the wmv or mpeg2 videos for WMM. I am using RZ Video Converter which can convert any videos or audios between different formats with good quality, such as convert avi videos to the wmv or mpeg2 videos for WMM, etc. Then you can import the converted videos to WMM, and edit them. yahoo or google search and download RZ Video Converter, hope it can help you.

I finally got my mom to give in tonight!!! Do you think that it will still work next time?
My doctor told my mom that I need to gain some weight. He put me on a diet that would help me with the "problem" (its really not even a real problem). And Ive already gained 2 pounds, so I know that I need to go back to my regular diet. Mom and I had a little argument during dinner tonight. I told her that I was going to make myself a small salad and some get some watter, she told me to eat what she made me because it was part of my diet. I refused and I said that if I cant get a salad then I wont eat anything at all. She just said "then I guess you will be sitting here all night because your butt will not leave this chair until you eat". And she finished eating and Is till didn't eat anything and she waited like an hour, then she gave in and told me I could make myself a salad. She said this was unacceptable and that she wont let me do it again. But I don't know..maybe it might still work! Do you think that it will still work tomorrow?

Advice on cooking lobster tails?
I steam mine typically but if you don't have a steamer you can make one using a large colander like you use for spaghetti noodles to drain. Put a couple cups of water in the pot and the colander over top With a lid on it, instant steamer. Make sure you thaw the tails before cooking I would put them in your fridge the night before. Other than that sometimes I cut the thawed lobster shells right down the middle shell still on and cook it in a hot pan with butter, garlic,good white wine, and salt. Served with veggies or angel hair pasta.

How to remove black from saucepan boiled dry?
I was making tea from an herbalist and left the pan on and forgot it. There is a 1/16th of an inch char-boiled plate there. It is stainless steel. I have an SOS scouring pad but want to put something in to soften the black stuff up before using the SOS. Would any household ingredients possibly help scour somehow to make the pan usable again?

How long is the waiting list for the nursing program at VVC?
I'm a senior in high school and a teen mom so I'm looking for a community college that offers a nursing program, but not many schools near Victorville actually offer a nursing program it's all basically medical assisting, but I know that VVC has a RN program and everyone is saying the waiting list is really long and i just wanted to know how that worked. Do you do your prerequisites and then after those are done do you start your nursing classes or do you have to wait on a waiting list before you can actually start the nursing part of it?? i tried calling and setting an appointment, but didn't work out. so if anyone has any information on the program besides what I'm asking i would love to hear it . . thanks oh and when should I get on the waiting list if there is one??
Do I bake or broil if I am trying to cook a rack of lamb in a convection oven? And for how long?
I followed the directions on the lamb rack i got from the butcher that said to cook it for 30-35 minutes. My recipe says 6 minutes per side for a medium rare steak. I read somewhere online that an extra six minutes should be added to get the steak well done. Is this correct information and if so is that 6 minutes total or 6 minutes per side?

Valentine's Day is on monday, should I break up with my boyfriend?
I recently started dating one of my good friends and love him very much as a person, but I am not sure if I feel the same way as him. We have been dating for a month, and rushed quite suddenly into it, with flirting online for quite a few months, then one night (I had been thinking how I would like to get him better more and maybe go on a few dates) when we were joking about how I liked someone and he was asking if I knew anyone who liked him. He then proceeded to tease me, and we flirted until finally he asked me out. Since then we have only kissed once (cause he was sick with strep) and have only gone on a few dates. I've stayed with him to see if it will grow into something more (as it is still quite soon) but I feel like I'm not fully attracted to him even though he makes me laugh and I am happy/comfortable around him. I'm also not sure if I am in a relationship for the sake of being in a relationship or I am really ready for one atm. I feel like I am never going to meet a guy who I can fully give every part of myself to, with a good relationship/physical attraction between us. I also feel that things were rushed and "declared" a relationship between us to quickly. But I am also a coward and from previous experience sometimes it hurts to much to be alone (especially on Valentine's Day) but I feel as someone who I respect and know I wouldnt want someone to do this to me, I should tell him how I really feel. What do you think? Am I a cold hearted ***** for wanting to break up with him, or do I owe it to both of us to break it off or at least slow things down... I so confused and I just don't want to hurt him. :'(

Why are the ASYM Skullcandy earbuds discontinued?
I got a pair of these, rasta colored, and they kinda just broke on me. The one part inside the earbud(the silver filter looking thing that the rubber part covers) came out when i was switching the rubber piece and i can't find it. I think it depends on where you're from. I;m from CA and I love fresh cracked crab when it's in season. The only lobster we can get is frozen and not that flavorful. (Fresh lobster is available in restaurants but it's VERY expensive.) People on the east coast are more used to lobster. If I had lobster I'd want it broiled.

Okay, the other morning i woke up with what looked like a spider bite, and i did find two little puncture holes..its better now but is still annoying feeling. Broil is a setting on your oven. You can use any kind of cook ware that goes into your oven. Broil cooks from the top part of your oven, then elements. Great for finishing off a dish...like when you make oven grilled cheese, I use the broil setting, makes the cheese nice and bubbly.

Heres a good tip or when going to mexico. NEVER EVER drive around in a fancy new looking car because cartels will follow you and try to take it from you at all costs. Also, when going thru mexico city wrap a rubber band around your wallet and put it in your front poket because there are a LOT of pick pockets. Dont wear any jewelry or fancy clothing as this would make you an easy target. In addition, NEVER ever bash the cartels while in mexico cause you never know who u are talking to as they could possibly be a cartel and kill u for insulting them which has hapenned to many people. I would avoid mexico for now because its just way too dangerous with it being considered the #1 country in holding people hostage and then killing them even tho u paid the ransom!

worcestershire sauce has always been my favorite ingredient in wonderful burgers. i dont know of anything else that i would put in the burger. the only thing i can really suggest is possibly cooking it anoher way. my mom used to just cook them in a pan on the stove sometimes and they were amazing. nothing beats a grill cooked hamburger though.

I'm not too familiar with C++, but I'd suspect that since s1 and s2 are just pointers to char (i.e. char*), the == operator will be comparing the pointers' addresses, which won't match. The two char arrays have the same content, but they aren't the same array.
